“My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” Psalms 73:26

Every person has at sometime walked in this very weighty, painful and desolate place the psalmist describes. “My flesh and my heart fail”, as if to say “I’m at the end of my rope, I don’t think I can take it anymore. My heart feels like it’s been so trampled by a herd of buffalo and surely they don’t stop. The strength of my physical body, my ability to keep doing your will, O God, and to stay your course, and to even get out of bed, is found wanting. The “Eternal Purpose” of God

Meditate on this Truth of God FOR and IN US — those who believe in the mind-transforming promises of God!

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Eph 3:20-21)

Paul’s use of  “exceedingly abundantly above all” sounds very similar to his use of “width and length and depth and height” in describing the love of Christ; the fulness of God in the preceding verses (Eph 3:18-19).
