Empires fall; Mansions crumble.
Cattle die; Machinery rusts away.
Earthly pleasures fade in a moment.
But a child lives on and on
Through the lives of descendents
And in those he influences
All the way into ETERNITY.
Jesus speaks of every soul being resurrected and receiving a new body, but that these eternal souls will go to one of two places, depending upon how we have lived for and loved God. (John 5:28-29) What is the value of our children compared to the things of this temporal world? Will you allow your job, promotions, boats, hobbies, friends, and any other distraction to rob you of investing your life into one of the most precious items God has given you?
